The phrase "pay it forward" explains why Caroline Mangosing is geared to producing more films in the future in the Philippines. A film/TV producer/actor and writer, she is the managaing director of the Canadian TV/film production company The Digital Sweatshop Inc. that produced Ang Pamana: The Inheritance which will open in Metro Manila theatres on Nov. 22. She also plays the role of Lola Nena in the said film. Together with her husband and the films' director Romeo Candido, she opted to invest in producing films for the Philippine market with the hope of helping alleviate the struggling and still suffering local film industry by producing quality films that are also viable to the international market. |
