One month after the Bulacan fire, Johnny is dealing with the aftermath of Vanessa and Nicco’s death, his sister’s catatonic state, and the destruction of Lola’s house. He moves with Tommy, Celia and Dante to Lola’s Malolos property, which was her childhood home. In the house, Johnny finds a locked room containing volumes of his Lola’s journals. Lola’s journals reveal her among other details, her insights into the ‘unseen world’, and her relationship with the aswang / mananangal that Johnny encountered on that fateful night on the farm.

Johnny meets a beautiful girl in the market. But after spending days with her, Johnny suspects might actually be an aswang.

Johnny’s awakening powers and newfound love force him to a heartbreaking choice between life and death.
