Ang Pamana to Test Filipino Audiences
Manila Bulletin - November 18, 2006

Director Romeo Candido was glowing with idealism and optimism during the press conference on Tuesday that introduced to the media his second full length feature film, Ang Pamana (The Inheritance).

"The film was done with international standards in mind," he said. He was referring to the structure, acting and the technical aspects of the movie.

"I did not use didtal, I used 35mm film," he stressed. "For a movie to compete in international film festivals and markets, it has to be shot in 35mm."

He revealed that the production cost of Ang Pamana was P10million upwards, but not more than P20million.

THe movie's cast was composed mostly of Filipino-Canadian artists, who are of course not so well-known in the Philippines.
