Romeo Candido's Ang Pamana (The Inheritance), a suspense-drama about Filipino folklore was given an "A" rating by the Cinema Evaluation Board, which cited the movie's "technical excellence" as one of the reasons for the incentive.
"The story [ of Pamana ] is very well told and the approach is very original," CEB chair Christine Dayrit told Inquirer Entertainment. "Watching the movie was a hair-raising experience."
